Franchise business model stronger today than ever

When I started in franchising as a franchisee in Scotland in 1988 the world was so different. Internet, web pages, SEO, pay per click campaigns are just a few things that weren't around then. Starting any type of business today seems to mean you have to wear many more different hats and be familiar with so many additional things than in the past. Being part of a franchise gives you the right to use a name and a Brand however franchisors like House Doctors handyman franchise also take some of the burden off our handyman and home improvement franchisees by continually researching the industry and dealing with vendors and suppliers while keeping up to speed with technology changes that come along. This post asks you to consider that the franchise business model is even stronger today than at any other time in our history with the changes in technology and the way we do business.

Why the franchise business model is even stronger today

Would you agree that anyone deciding to go into business on their own today faces a tougher time than entrepreneurs in the past? Rules and regulations now abound no mater what industry, banks are less likely to lend money and marketing is a whole different ball game.
Wouldn't it be great to be part of an organization that offered advice, guidance and support on good business practices on a host of small business topics relating to running your business.
It seems to be becoming more and more difficult for the individual to start a business while the larger organizations and franchises are becoming stronger.
That's why I consider the franchise business model to be an even better route to self employment today than in the past. Here is a list of some items that a good franchise system like House Doctors handyman service offers franchisees.
