So you've bought your handyman or home improvement franchise, now what? Many would be franchisees think that buying the franchise is the end game. No doubt you'll have a Brand, marketing support, operational support and all of that is helpful and adds to the chances of your success but what will be your role and do you have the skills to do it well.
I've seen people who have done very well with franchises and I've seen people who have not done so well and it all comes down to that simple fact. The people who do well in a particular franchise have the skills needed to run that type of business well.

So even before you buy your franchise ask yourself will I be able to do what is necessary to run this type of business well? You haven't reached your goal when you buy, you are just starting to set your goals.
